New Asakusa Specialty "Asakusa Okaki" Opens a Limited-Time Shop at ROX

"Asakusa Okaki" will open for a limited time at the 1st-floor entrance of Asakusa ROX from Friday, September 18 to Wednesday, September 30.

Asakusa Okaki is a new specialty that originated in Asakusa this July. Made with no food additives and completely gluten-free, it is an unprecedented okaki (rice cracker) with a crisp, light texture and deep umami and aroma. It is sold in a prime location right in front of the ROX main building entrance, and tastings are available on the spot, so even first-timers can try it with confidence.

The product comes in two flavors, Brown Rice and Soft, with the following two plans available.

• 30 g weighed out into a special cup: 500 yen
• 80 g packed into a special paper bag: 1,000 yen

This new specialty is perfect for enjoying while strolling around Asakusa or for souvenir shopping. Be sure to try it while you can.
