Luggage Storage Service Bounce Partners with Yatora to Promote Hands-Free Sightseeing During Autumn Foliage Season

Bounce, Inc., which operates the luggage storage service "Bounce" in 4,000 cities and at more than 32,000 locations worldwide, has begun a partnership with Yatora Co., Ltd. (Travel Japan Together), which operates tours across Japan.

Background to the Partnership

During the autumn foliage season, tourism demand is concentrated, and congestion caused by travelers carrying large suitcases and a shortage of coin lockers become serious problems. Yatora guides approximately 40,000 international visitors each year, and by using Bounce, its tour participants can enjoy sightseeing without being weighed down.

Details of the Initiative

• Tour participants can search for and book nearby storage locations through the Bounce app
• Available in 11 languages, including Japanese and English, with everything from booking to payment completed on a smartphone
• Available in major areas such as Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, Shibuya Station, Asakusa Station, Osaka Station, and Kyoto Station

Bounce is available in 650 cities and at more than 5,500 locations in Japan. Even in areas popular with tourists like Asakusa, it is expected to help ease congestion caused by luggage while allowing visitors to enjoy comfortable strolls around the city.
