Taito City × Matsuzakaya "Flower Enjoyment Day"

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Taito City Hana no Kokoro (Heart of Flowers) Project, the "Flower Enjoyment Day" event is being held in cooperation with Matsuzakaya Ueno, a long-established store founded in the Edo period. The event aims to pass on the gardening culture of enjoying the flowers and greenery that thrive in Taito City, raise environmental awareness among residents and shoppers, promote the appeal of the area's flowers and greenery, and encourage sustainable gardening activities.

• Date & Time: November 3, 2026 (national holiday) 10:30–15:00
• Venue: Matsuzakaya Ueno, Rooftop (3-29-5 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo)

Workshops

Several workshops will be offered where you can get close to flowers and greenery.

Container Planting Experience

With the cooperation of the Taito City green volunteers, the "Taito City Green Leaders," you can try making a flower container planting. Plant flower seedlings in a container and take it home the same day. It is easy to join and takes only a short time.

• Eligibility: Open to everyone
• Capacity: 50 people (first come, first served)
• Fee: Free
• Registration opens: 10:30 (planting starts at 11:00)
• You may have to wait your turn

Wreath Making and Bouquet Making (for Children)

Wreath making and bouquet making for children are also planned. Details will be posted once they are confirmed.
