Matsuya Asakusa and Bounce Begin Partnership to Offer Luggage Storage in the Asakusa Area

Bounce, Inc., which operates the luggage storage service "Bounce" at more than 32,000 locations in 4,000 cities worldwide, has begun a partnership with Matsuya Asakusa, a long-established department store in Asakusa.

Background of the Partnership

Asakusa is one of Tokyo's leading tourist destinations, visited by many travelers to see places such as Kaminarimon, Senso-ji, and Nakamise-dori. In recent years, the increase in international visitors to Japan has led to crowding caused by travelers carrying large suitcases, as well as a shortage of coin lockers.

Matsuya Asakusa is a long-established department store that has been rooted in Asakusa since its founding in 1931, and it enjoys a prime location directly in front of Kaminarimon. Because it is a place travelers can easily drop into, it was chosen as a luggage storage site.
