Apartment Hotel "Minn Asakusa Hanayashiki North" to Open in December 2026

SQUEEZE Inc. and Daiichi Realtor Co., Ltd. plan to open the apartment hotel "Minn Asakusa Hanayashiki North" in Asakusa 2-chome, Taito-ku, Tokyo, in December 2026.

Features of the Facility

The hotel is conveniently located next to Asakusa Hanayashiki, about a 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express, and about a 5-minute walk from popular sightseeing spots such as Senso-ji, Nakamise-dori, and Asakusa Engei Hall. It has 20 rooms, with spacious rooms where families and friends can relax comfortably, and will serve as a base for group trips.

Some rooms will also have a private rooftop balcony with a view of Tokyo Skytree.

Room Design

• A Japanese-modern space featuring light walls inspired by shoji screens and tatami areas
• Suo (deep red), deep green, and indigo, which recall Hanayashiki, are used as accent colors
• Expresses the "play" and "comfort" that have been passed down in Asakusa

Background

As the number of international visitors to Japan continues to hit new record highs, Taito Ward tightened its regulations on private lodging (minpaku) from October 2026. "Minn" holds a license under the Hotel Business Act, which allows it to operate year-round, on both weekdays and holidays. Rooms are equipped with kitchens, so guests can stay as if they were living there.

For operations, the hotel uses "suitebook," a platform developed by SQUEEZE, offering smartphone-based advance check-in, keyless entry, and a 24-hour cloud reception. Together with "Minn Ueno Iriya East," which opens at the same time, the number of "Minn" properties in Taito Ward will total 10.
