Asakusa Public Hall Hanagata Kabuki Performance

Asakusa Public Hall Hanagata Kabuki Performance

A kabuki performance bringing together rising young star actors will be held this October at Asakusa Public Hall. It promises to be a valuable opportunity to enjoy up close the passionate performances of the next generation as they take on traditional repertoire.

The performance is organized in two parts: a daytime show and an evening show. You can enjoy it during the day, or stop by the evening show on your way home from work, so you can choose a viewing time that fits your own lifestyle.

The stage, woven from youthful energy and solid skills backed by rigorous rehearsal, is sure to be well worth seeing for longtime kabuki fans and first-time visitors alike.

Asakusa Public Hall is located in the Asakusa neighborhood, full of old downtown (shitamachi) charm, so we recommend strolling around the area and enjoying street food before or after the performance.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale from mid-September. As this is a performance featuring popular programs and actors, it is wise to check information early and get ready to make your reservation.

Why not spend an autumn day immersed in the glamorous world of Hanagata Kabuki, together with the atmosphere of Asakusa?
