New Products AsakusaAsakusa Shrine × Keikyu [Natsumode] Special Goshuin 2026
Published Jul 29, 2026
Asakusa Shrine is offering a special Natsumode goshuin for 2026 as a collaboration project with Keikyu Corporation. Natsumode is a shrine-visiting custom held in summer, at the halfway point of the year, to express gratitude for the past six months and to pray for good health and well-being in the second half. It has been gaining popularity in recent years. This year's goshuin was created with a design that also promotes tourism along the Keikyu lines, and features motifs unique to a collaboration with a railway company. It has been offered in sequence since July 7, and has been attracting attention from visitors who enjoy collecting goshuin. Asakusa Shrine is also running a collaboration project with JR Central during the same period, and many visitors come to obtain multiple special goshuin. The number of visitors who combine a visit to the shrine with summer sightseeing in Asakusa is expected to increase.
