HELLO! Junkan Ennichi (Resource Circulation Festival) – Matsuzakaya Ueno Store Rooftop

A Fun Day Experiencing Resource Circulation

Taito City is holding "HELLO! Junkan Ennichi," an event where everyone from children to adults can enjoy experiencing the circulation of food waste and other resources. This is the first time the event is being held in autumn, and the venue is the rooftop of the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store. As it is an outdoor event, it will be cancelled in case of rain, and information will be posted on the Taito City website.

Main Activities

• Kids' Flea Market: Elementary school students in Taito City take charge of setting up shops, selling, and serving customers. The morning session runs from 11:00 to 12:45, and the afternoon session from 13:30 to 15:15.
• Circulation Workshops & Games: Turn things that would have been thrown away into resources and make something new. There are also compost-related games and a toilet paper stacking challenge.
• Resource Collection: Paper cartons, milk cartons, and similar items will be collected.
• Sales: In addition to compost sets, "circulation vegetables" grown with food waste compost and processed products will be sold. LFC Compost will also be on sale.
• First-Time Compost Course: Learn how to use compost, using LFC Compost as an example (advance registration required).

Compost Collection Event (Advance Registration Required)

Compost made with LFC Compost will be collected at the Okachimachi South Exit Station Plaza (Okachimachi Panda Plaza) from 13:00 to 15:00. In case of rain, it will be held under the eaves at Matsuzakaya Ueno Store Park Place. Details will be announced again once preparations for advance registration are complete.
