WA-ssho-i Festival in Asakusa Kokusai-dori

The Asakusa Kokusai-dori venue of the "WA-ssho-i Festival," an event jointly organized by shopping streets in Taito Ward, Arakawa Ward and Adachi Ward, will be held at the 2F Public Open Space of Asakusa View Hotel.

Stage Performances

The appeal lies in enjoying both new and old styles of stage entertainment, with revues, geisha dances, popular song shows, hula dancing and more. In addition, chindon-ya (traditional street musicians) will parade along Asakusa Kokusai-dori, livening up the town.

Workshops

Hands-on crafting experiences are also plentiful, including making cream soda candles, perfume bottle-shaped artificial flower arrangements, retro accessory cases made with stickers, a shaker experience, and mizuhiki (decorative cord) making.

The event runs from 11:00 to 16:00. With activities the whole family can enjoy, it is also a great place to stop by while strolling around Asakusa.
