Kaminarimon Bon Odori ~Yume Toro (Dream Lanterns)~ Held

The Asakusa Tourism Federation's "Today's Asakusa" corner reported that the annual Kaminarimon Bon Odori Yume Toro (Dream Lanterns) has been held. The event took place on September 5, 2026, and is introduced with a photo capturing the beautiful sky that spread out in the evening. The Kaminarimon Bon Odori is a summer tradition loved by local residents and tourists, and it brightens the streets of Asakusa around this time every year. As the name Yume Toro (Dream Lanterns) suggests, the event features lantern-lit displays, and its magical atmosphere from dusk into the night is a highlight. It is run in cooperation with local merchants' associations and the Tourism Federation, and has become established as an event that marks the end of summer in Asakusa.
