"Mobile Suit Gundam" x Asakusa's Long-Established "Honpindo" Collaboration Katazome Collection Released

A katazome (stencil-dyed) collection of "Mobile Suit Gundam" items, created in collaboration with the long-established Asakusa brand "Honpindo," is being released by "STRICT-G," the official Gundam apparel shop operated by the Lifestyle Division of Bandai.

Honpindo is a fabric goods brand whose parent is "Sarakei," a katazome dyeing workshop founded in the 3rd year of the Keio era (1867). The collection lets you enjoy the texture of fabric made through traditional handcraftsmanship and a world of charming patterns.

Lineup

• Mamoribukuro (Amulet Pouch) (¥4,400, tax included): A small pouch that stylish Edo townspeople carried to hold an amulet. Available in 3 designs: Gundam, Char's Zaku II, and Haro. It comes in a paulownia wood box, making it suitable as a gift.
• Gassai-bukuro (Carry-All Pouch) (¥6,600, tax included): A pouch for carrying all of your belongings. Available in 3 designs: Gundam, Char's Zaku II, and Haro. It can also be used as an inner pouch.
• Honhonnui Small Zabuton Cushion: Haro (¥11,000, tax included): An authentic Edo-style zabuton cushion tailored by craftsmen, featuring a katazome design of Haro.

Sales Information

Pre-orders are accepted at "STRICT-G Online Store" on "Premium Bandai" from 13:00 on Friday, October 16, 2026, until 23:00 on Sunday, November 1. Shipping is scheduled for November 2026.

General sales begin on Saturday, October 24 at STRICT-G Tokyo Solamachi (Oshiage), Tokyo Odaiba, NEOPASA Shizuoka (Outbound), and Taga SA (Outbound). Sales may end once the prepared quantity is reached.
