<Daikanyama Chez Lui> Special Sale

, popular for its cakes and baked sweets inspired by "Parisian street corners," is opening a limited-time pop-up at the Main Entrance Event Space of Matsuya Asakusa.

Last year, marked the 50th anniversary of the opening of its first store. To commemorate the occasion, it is preparing a limited quantity of the 50th Anniversary Design Reissued Tin Assortment.

• 50th Anniversary Design Reissued Tin Assortment (5,400 yen): Baked sweets that were made from the company's founding until the early 2000s have been recreated with their original recipes and packed into reissued tins. The set includes two tins: "Petits Fours Secs," with 4 kinds of sweet cookies, and "Petits Fours Salés Apéritif," with 4 kinds of savory pies.
• Mont Blanc Marron (692 yen): Plenty of French chestnut cream is piped onto fresh cream, for a light finish that melts in the mouth.
• Canelé de Bordeaux (389 yen): A traditional pastry from the Bordeaux region of France, with an appealing chewy, moist texture.
