Maho Takahashi Solo Exhibition: "Even After You Wake, Stay (by My Side)"

Maho Takahashi's new solo exhibition, "Even After You Wake, Stay (by My Side)" (Okitemo (Soba ni) Itene), will be held at GALLERY ROOM・A, a commercial gallery operated by ArtSticker. The exhibition runs from Saturday, October 17 to Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Maho Takahashi is an artist based in Katori, Chiba Prefecture. Starting from childhood memories and emotions, she explores how personal experiences change in meaning over time and through relationships with others, expressing this through painting.

This exhibition presents Bedside Stories, a new series themed around toy beds. The beds are placed amid nature, such as flowers and forests, and children and stuffed toys are depicted within the cycle in which life is born, grows, and is lost.

Highlights

• A world in which the feeling of being enveloped by life coexists with a slight sense of loneliness and anxiety
• The wish expressed in the title for something to remain by your side even after you wake
• New works depicting the wavering between memory and the present, security and anxiety, and the individual and the world
