A Base for Encountering Edo Culture Opens in Senzoku
Taito City is home to places associated with Tsutaya Juzaburo (Tsutajū), who supported Edo's publishing culture. Around Yoshiwara (now Senzoku), where Tsutajū was born, many historic sites remain, including the site of Koshodo, the Mikaeri Yanagi (Looking-Back Willow) and Yoshiwara Shrine. Now, "Edo Sui Koshodo" is opening as a base for exploring these sites.
