"OiTr" Free Sanitary Napkin Dispensing Service Installed at Tokyo Solamachi and Tokyo Skytree East Tower

"OiTr," a service that provides sanitary napkins free of charge, has been newly installed at the Oshiage shopping complex "Tokyo Solamachi" and the office building "Tokyo Skytree East Tower." The service started on September 27, 2026.

• Tokyo Skytree East Tower: 18 units (1-1-2 Oshiage)

What Is OiTr?

This service lets you receive sanitary napkins free of charge from a dispenser inside women's private restroom stalls. Download the dedicated app (free) and register an account, and you can receive one napkin every 2 hours. Starting from the account registration date, you can receive up to 7 napkins every 25 days.

The app also offers "period prediction" and "health management" features.

Background

Tobu Railway, the operator, says the facilities attract a wide variety of people, from tourists and shoppers to those who work in the offices. The aim is to create an environment where sanitary products are available whenever needed, so that everyone can visit, work, and spend time with peace of mind. This initiative is part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Be Smart Tokyo " project.
